Arts Are Essential, Inc. is a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation registered in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts providing arts in education throughout the Northeast. We depend upon fee-for-service to support our administrative costs.

We also offer cultural–educational professional development exchanges to Senegal, West Africa for artists, educators, and students. While in Senegal, our participants work on a service project in their field of interest.

Your financial support will further all of our projects reaching, at-risk populations both in the US and in Senegal. Donations are used to support arts in education programming. Donations can also be used for travel scholarships for students or adults with financial need, educational, medical or health issues.

We are making a difference in the lives of students here and in Senegal. We encourage you to make a difference, too!

Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., in his famous “I have a Dream” speech, referred to “the fierce urgency of now.” We only go this way once. It is our responsibility to see what is happening, assess the possible outcomes, and to make a commitment to act.
